We are seeking an ambitious Investment Banking Analyst to join a dynamic M&A advisory team serving entrepreneurial, middle-market, and high-growth companies. This role offers unparalleled exposure to senior executives, investors, and complex transactions from day one.
What You'll Do
- Analyze companies, industries, and markets to identify strategic opportunities
- Build sophisticated valuation and financial models
- Prepare client presentations, investment memoranda, and transaction materials
- Support buy-side and sell-side M&A engagements
- Participate in due diligence, management meetings, and transaction execution
- Collaborate directly with senior bankers and client leadership teams
What We're Looking For
- Strong academic performance in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Compensation & Rewards
- Competitive base salary: $130,000 - $180,000+

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong academic record (typically GPA 3.5+ preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation development
- Understanding of corporate finance principles
- Knowledge of valuation methodologies:
- Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
- Comparable Company Analysis
- Precedent Transaction Analysis
- Financial modeling experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior investment banking, private equity, valuation, transaction advisory, or corporate finance internship experience
- Financial modeling certification (Wall Street Prep, Training the Street, BIWS, etc.)
- SIE exam passed
