We are seeking an ambitious Investment Banking Analyst to join a dynamic M&A advisory team serving entrepreneurial, middle-market, and high-growth companies. This role offers unparalleled exposure to senior executives, investors, and complex transactions from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze companies, industries, and markets to identify strategic opportunities
  • Build sophisticated valuation and financial models
  • Prepare client presentations, investment memoranda, and transaction materials
  • Support buy-side and sell-side M&A engagements
  • Participate in due diligence, management meetings, and transaction execution
  • Collaborate directly with senior bankers and client leadership teams

What We're Looking For

  • Strong academic performance in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Compensation & Rewards

  • Competitive base salary: $130,000 - $180,000+

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong academic record (typically GPA 3.5+ preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation development
  • Understanding of corporate finance principles
  • Knowledge of valuation methodologies:
    • Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
    • Comparable Company Analysis
    • Precedent Transaction Analysis
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior investment banking, private equity, valuation, transaction advisory, or corporate finance internship experience
  • Financial modeling certification (Wall Street Prep, Training the Street, BIWS, etc.)
  • SIE exam passed
